I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. My office is large enough to allow for social distancing and I also run an air purifier. Virtual sessions are conducted through Jane which meets the requirements for PHIPA.
Scheduling a Session
New clients are asked to add their names to my ‘waitlist’ option in my online booking system. I will contact you by email to say hello and answer any questions you may have. **If you do not receive an email from me, your waitlist request didn’t work. Please email me directly at email@example.com**. I will add your name to my list and contact you as soon as I can to offer an appointment time. Often, I will go to my waitlist when I have last minute cancellations (24-48 hours notice). Evening appointments are generally in higher demand and wait times for these time slots could be longer.
I am happy to offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and determine if we are a good fit for each other. These appointments can be requested by contacting me directly by phone or email.
Fees & Cancellation Policy
All counselling sessions are $150 per 50-minute session.
If you have extended benefits, check with your provider to ensure you have coverage for a Registered Social Worker. I do not offer direct billing, but I will provide with a receipt to submit for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy – I require 48 hours notice for cancellation of appointments. This gives me enough time to be able to offer your time slot to someone else. Appointments cancelled without at least 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee unless there are extenuating circumstances.
